The technology: Ford’s Sync feature, which lets drivers control certain MP3 players with voice commands, has been available for several months. While it sounds pretty useful, we still don’t know anyone who has the system installed in their ride. So we drove out to a local dealership to take Sync for a spin.

The verdict: Sync largely delivers on its promise, but it’s not without problems.
