  • Wine 101: Great red wines for a modest budget

    Posted by taylor.fultz
This time of year, I highly suggest trying a red wine. My favorites are deep reds such as Chianti or a good Merlot. However, if you prefer something lighter, a safe suggestion is always a tasty Pinot Noir. It is not too dry and it has a light, fruity flavor that's enjoyable to almost any wine drinker, even a new one.

This versatile drink can be served as a shot or in a highball glass. Part of its appeal -- OK, most of it -- is the name.
